anyone fly kites

i have a few in the closet from years ago but they are kinda beat up from flying them underwater and in the surf. my son is at an age that i think he could handle one now. his school has a huge field next to it so we have a place to fly them. you can fly them side by side and wrap and unwrap strings while doing stunts. i've been lifted off the ground more than once. :blsmoke:

I grew up flying them. but i havent flown in years.

i'm trying to find a hooby i can enjoy with my son. he turns 13 next month. i'm looking for something that will give him/us some exercise. kites could do it. :mrgreen:

lol,,my kids destroy kites,,here's one we haven't even opened yet,,good for this spring,,remote control cars are good,,keeps em running after it when the signal fades,,swimming man,,that tires em out good,,helps keep you a lil fit too,,didn't know you had a son,,I got 2 boys,,with there mother:cry:,,they are 12 and 10:mrgreen:,,no matter fdd,,long as you spend time with them,,they love ya:hump:,,have fun man

Kites Rule! My dad used to send 'messages' or 'notes' to the kite. He would send a paper from holder way up to kite. Kind of fun if you have never done. Man I was in great kite weather today, and road was closed.... darn an other time.
