Anyone ever use Sunleaves Pulsar Two-Way Mini HPS/MH before?

Hey guys, I'm a newbie grower.. 1st thread to be exact! I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on the Sunleaves Pulsar Two-Way Mini HPS/MH 400w light. I'm gearing up for my first grow and just kinda doing my research before I make my purchases.. I noticed it doesn't have the fittings for the air cool duct.. I'm guessing this could be a problem.



My grow space is about 4x 2.5 x 8
Also the room will never be fully sealed off for venting purposes.

I'm trying to raise 2-4 medium sized plants using a home made DWC system.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i used this light on my first grow the pulsar mini has the ballast all in one with the light so its heavier than a normal grow light with out the ballast included to the light but it works great it works alot better than those cheap 400 watt grow lights they sell at htg supply but now i have a 600 watt lumatek electronic system with a 600 watt super hps sunmaster bulb with aircooled reflector it works better and its 10 times more brighter than any other light i have ever had

Nice! Thanks for the advice man.. I'm debating still whether or not to go with a 400w or 600w. I'm thinking it might be better to just throw down the extra cash for the 600w now rather than toy around with the 400w. What did that light end up costing?

i went to growlightsource.com and payed 289.00 plus shipping but it was the cheapest 600 watt lumatek electronic light system i could find and i searched for days they even give you a 600 watt argo sun super red sodium bulb 2 go with it free. i didnt really like those magnetic ballast they get to hot and most of them make a buzzing sound.And i think the lumatek ballast burn brighter.
