Anyone ever tried making Amphetamine Sulphate?

I was speaking to a friend the other day that got some of this from a person that makes it in their own home

I was wondering if anyone else has ever tried making this and what's been their experience with it

From what I understand amphetamine follows the same process that ma follows. Phenylacetone refluxed in ethanol with ammonia, aluminum and mercuric chloride.

Fairly low rent procedure with fair yield and purity.
