Anyone ever have this happen to a plant before?

Unfortunately my cam isnt here so I cant take a pic, I'll try to explain it.

My plant popped out from the soil , and its like the seed fell off, but the flower part is still stuck together as if it still had the seed on it.
Is this plant going to die you think?
Im going to wait and see what happens, but im just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this before?

Like I said, the rounded starter leaves are visable, but its like they are stuck together, as if the seed was still surrounding it. It JUST popped from the soil not too long ago, so maybe it will still live.

Its a very common occurrence. Your plant should push itself open on its own. The seedling has a little piece of lining from the inside of the seed holding its leaves together. You can either leave it alone and see if it will break it on its own... or you can try to carefully pinch it off yourself. Sometimes it can be a problem if the seedling can't break it... thats why I always pinch it off. If theres no seed lining holding the leaves together... then the leaves will definitely separate on their own.

you were right, after looking at it closer, there was a thin almost plastic looking thing holding the leaves together near half way to the tip of the leaves. I removed it and the leaves opened a tiny bit. so im guessing by tomorrow the leaves should open up all the way hopefully.
