so ya,, do you use amazon prime,, whats your experience like,, do you use it much,, does it pay for itself?
 
I literally have like 4 packages a week delivered to me from amazon and living in Alaska makes that free shipping worth it within the first two weeks. Then I get free music, TV shows, movies, if you live in the lower 48 there are even more benefits, I love my PRIME membership :D I got my whole grow setup on Amazon basically. Also if you are a PRIME member their customer service does like anything to keep you happy.
 
I can't say whether dollars and cents it's worth it for me but for convenience absolutely. I don't use it for any purpose other than the delivery time and charges. But that's my choice. I'm a half hour from a Home Depot or anything like that. But choices are limited. Sometimes it's easier to click the button than find the closest place that has what I need. Needless to say I live in one of the high priced and most taxed states. So for me it's a no brainer it saves me time and I only see the bill for it once a year. Not every purchase.
 
I've been a Prime member for the last 6 years or so. I do about 80% of my shopping on Amazon, I also receive 3-4 packages per week. I spend so many thousands of dollars with them them per year that they basically do whatever I ask at this point. Returns past the delivery date? No problem, Mr. Durden. Package didn't make it to you? No problem, we just sent another. Don't like anything for any reason? We'll pick it up and give you a refund before the item even gets back to us, no questions asked. I don't use any of the Prime music or streaming, because I pirate everything via torrents. But it's nice to know that service is there if I ever choose to be an upstanding citizen...
 
They just send me an email that says I saved over $600 in shipping this year so far. Fuck, that's a smart $80 investment. I love how ups and the usps announce themselves as Amazon when they buzz my apartment. And aren't they the major force behind Sunday package delivery?
 
so far its working well for me, surprising when i need something now i go and look there first,, I am 18 miles to the nearest shopping,
