Hate having to go through all of this Bullshit. This is going to be my 3rd year with MMJ and now the state wants to get their cut. Dollar signs in their eyes. :cuss:And from what I've been hearing you wont be able to grow your own. FUCK THAT. I never had to show my papers to anyone for the last 2 years. And if I don't this year, no more paying for something this unjust. Having thousands of dollars a year going to taxable goods instead of a drug dealers pockets untaxed isn't enough?

I am all for the recreational. Just as long as Fools cant use food stamps to buy it. I am looking forward to the day when prices are actually where they should be.

I think that's what these greedy bastards are afraid of. If everyone could grow their own it would be like tomatoes. Still have a market, but no reason to spend $200-500 for one sixteenth of a pound! Ive saved at least $5,000 over the last 2 years and All of that has gone to taxable goods. If millions of people are seeing the same savings and spending it elsewhere, that's already a good enough improvement... greedy fucks:mad:

Why don't we have to register with the state to buy tobacco or alcohol? Like I said. I don't think ill be paying my dues next year.

I havent kept up with the latest info. But i figure we'll all be able to grow until a despenery opens somewhere. The way mass seems to drag its ass.... that'll give us at least another 2 years. hopefully we can get a recreational bill passed. Look at the casino bullshit.... its been like 10 years.

Oh yea that's right. I know they had the list of places that were getting them. But are most likely setting up laws to get as many registration fees, taxes, and fines to keep that money flow coming in. I'm sure they'll be making big bucks on those dispensary permits. :weed:

I WAS going to register, but after looking into it more, i don't think it's that great of an idea. Depending on YOUR personal situation, like in my case, it may be better to just keep going under the radar. When they restrict you to buying anything from government mandated suppliers ( health insurance, auto insurance, medicine from authorized dispensaries), you know damn well it's only about money and not what's best for the general populace.

No laws have been passed to give you more freedom or money..ever! I'm sick and tired of needing permission from some arbitrary government to live how i want. All they want is everyone permanently attached to mother governments tittle asking permission every time they want to wipe their own ass.

I wanted a well to get off of another monthly bill, can't have it because town water (chemically treated, fluoride added) is available, so it's illegal. I wanted to raise chickens for eggs, I eat 2 doz eggs a week.., it's illegal unless you live in an agriculturally zoned area with a min of 5 acres. I've been told I can't work on my PERSONAL vehicles because I'm not a licensed repair facility. I've been told I can't list and sell anything online, from my house because I'm not a licensed retailer < i got dragged into that one defending my neighbor who has survived the last 4 yrs while being out of work selling odds and ends through C-list.

Freedom, huh?

The same in Connecticut as well. When has the govt not screwed a good thing up. So I will remain a criminal and keep on keepin on.

"Never mind, had fax confirming medical records were sent, called to confirm/make appointment, the woman's response nope we never received and you could tell she could not be bothered.
Then an article in the Hartford Courant about how the growers are getting ready for September and they are not sure of what the price will be but as mentioned it's a lot more expensive doing business in CT than other states so go from there. Other states seem to be expensive as it is, I can only cringe at what the prices will be here.
Between these two factors, I said screw it, the old fashioned way has worked for 40 years now so why change now ?"

"Ground up ??? So stems/seeds are prob in there also @ $550 + . This is working out to be a money grab by the state not a medicinal product that can help patients of there ailments. I am sure some people will continue the medicinal route in CT (do not know any source) but we have survived many many years just fine with the illegal product that is better and is 1/2 the cost. The choice is yours."

"Other states having issues as well...Washington
"State data show that licensed growers had harvested 31,000 pounds of bud as of Thursday, but Washington's relatively few legal pot shops have sold less than one-fifth of that. Many of the state's marijuana users have stuck with the untaxed or much-lesser-taxed pot they get from black market dealers or unregulated medical dispensaries — limiting how quickly product moves off the shelves of legal stores."

My question is - Nobody anticipated this ??? OK now that greed has competition, states need to lower their prices or the programs will fail."

We have to be careful with the recreational vote. If not we will be voting for corporations to control the business while home growers will still get their doors kicked in.
That is what they are trying to do in Ohio. There is a bill that would make it legal, but only the sponsors of the bill would be allowed to grow and sell.

No, only actually have the one neighbor, and he's a great neighbor, but he got on the bad side of one of the town administrators, who unleashed the town inspectors on him because of unregistered cars/stuff, and they just happened to wander onto my property, claiming it was his. F'ing town inspectors can't even read property maps. I pretty much got them to back off by threatening them with trespassing, i found out the town inspectors aren't allowed on your property unless your home, they can only do drive by inspections. From the street both of our properties look like any other, but we both have fences/bushes hiding cars/stuff from view.
