COBs are a high performance LED array that a lot of people are using for growing. Very simple to make and not very expensive, especially compared to panels. I actually use Hans, COBs and Illumitex in my grow area so your talking to the right guy :). Your Illumitex rig vs Hans would be an awesome thread.

Maybe I can get Scooby's attention.
Ya I will get it from him but I will only have 60 days to flower before deciding which to keep and theyd be two different strains which is not ideal for testing purposes . Hmm the guy who makes the grow funk said if I document it he would give me a good deal because he has very little documentation online . He sells em to local schools and stuff so cant really advertise the mj uses.

Its mixing different led panels ok some one told me its not good to mix
. I've been mixing panels for years now some combos are better than others. Multis setups grows very dense nugs and this combo is no exception. This setup is working great so far but I still have some tweaking to do.

Sweet man this led sounds like an expensive hobby . Is it pretty easy to build your own I was running 1000w hps but yields are not that important to me as its just personal . If I had lots I just gave more away it seemed

I see Kessil and their spinning lights got swept into this as well. What's funny is there are those who defend Kessil and the spinners because they work so great with T5 strips installed above them. Seriously?

imo kessils are only good for supplementing during veg. The spinner has to be modified when you buy it. Or it will fall on the plants. It's a horrible design.

You said it Hy! But the shit storm this doc created by the Kessil loyalists has to be seen to be believed. This weekend they're at MaxYield Boston and the spinner crowd is in full swing defending this design. What's funny is they actually say you can alleviate any and all dark spots with the spinners by putting T5's above them. And who would give up 24" of head room in their room? Technology for the sake of technology is not a good thing.

The one on the right kinda looks brighter . Thats the one with illumitex leds in it the hans looks more purple

I see the Illumitex NeoSol DS rated at 520 watts and going for over $2K. Is it justified?

Can't find much in the way of anyone documented running them so I've got to ask. Where are the gardens?

I am currently using the illumitex neo sol fixture. I love them. u can see my growth rates and bud production on my youtube videos. youtube search Winston wolf medical grow. I am in Oregon. check my channel and you can see how I am using the illumitex fixture in my soil garden along with my hydro room. hope this helps.
