Anyone care to venture a guess on dry yield on this harvest?

Bottom tray is 65g of popcorn/trim dried

Sorta off topic, but is that smelly jelly shit in those plastic jars down on the last pic? Wouldnt that ruin the smell/taste of your dried shit? I bought that stuff once and its really fucking strong. Just a warning i guess

It's ONA gel, I didn't think it would impart any taste into the buds. Now that you mention it though, I may leave the lid on when the door is closed and just take it off when I open the door. My carbon filter seems to take care of the smell just fine as it is. It does even better now during drying since I am just recycling air and not trying to keep it cool so the speed is turned way down.

Thanks for the heads up.

I had 7 plants and after drying\curing I got 7 ounces. Not bad for my first grow but I thought I would have netted more. It's amazing how much the buds shrink during drying.

I have definitely seen some "shrinkage" Been hanging to dry now for 5 days. I will be moving to jars in a couple days I think since the stems are still a little spongy but seem to be getting close to dry. I was hoping it would take longer to dry, I didn't water the last three days (had been drinking just under 1 gallon every day and a half) so that probably is why. I will post dried weight when I cut from stems and move to jars.

I am actually a little concerned about drying to quickly since it does feel a little crispy on the outside, I went and checked all the stems and took a few that are a little dry and went ahead and trimmed them off and jarred them.

Put your bud in paper grocery bags to redistribute the moisture. Give the bag a stir from time to time. Do a burn test as often as you want.
Jar when it lights well stays lit and burns even.

I was hoping it would take a little longer but I guess the 75f and a little to much airflow and the stems this morning were just about to snap and the buds are a little crispy. Finished the manocure and jarred everything up with some boveda 62% humidipacks.

121 grams of bud, 65 grams of popcorn/trim for budder

Looks good man. Good yield. I was up til 3am last night cutting down/trimming mine up (White Widow/BigBud). My other 2 will be ready in two weeks or so. Are you a gram/watt?

I wasn't really shooting for that, since I only had a single plant. I guess if you count the popcorn bud I got just under .5g/watt which is pretty good for a first run(186g/400W).

I made my budder last night with the popcorn, the vapor while simmering the budder is amazing and had me locked on a couch for awhile, still a little groggy actually :)

If the budder is producing vapor it's a bit too hot (clearly burning off thc if you got high off it) reduce the temp and your end product will be more potent. Good job on your run

yeah, I was probably running a little hot (~180F) but at that point I was feeling to good to give a shit :)

Next run I will try to get it better under control, before the vapor gets me wrapped up in its warm embrace.
