lol
speaking of cmp, I'm pretty sure they'll have to replace the transformer on the pole in front of my house next summer. Blew the breaker on it twice towards the end of last summer, when it got real hot and everybody had their AC on. It's a 25 already, guess we'll need a 50 lol.
hehe you should have seen the cmp guy out there looking around the neighborhood scratching his head.

Yeah, i have hard water and iron, and have a filter and softener to clean it up. However, Ive always fed with untreated water due to concerns of the treated water hurting plants.

My water is OK for feeding plants that are already well-rooted, but boy it is some metallic and salty-ass well water. I couldn't get nary a friggin' taproot for cloning about 10 days, then I changed the water in the bucket cloner to store-bought spring water and a few days later 5 of 8 were ready to put in soil. Three died. I was saddened! I now keep spring water around for the babies and clones, but use my harsh well water(that's supposedly an artesian spring) for mixing nutes and general watering purposes. My plants look fine as all get-out(I think).

Regarding the OP, HTG Supply on Rand Rd in Portland is the place to go(htgsupply.com) if you are buying new. I've dealt with others, but feel they are the straightest to deal with and feel 'less-raped' than other places. You've got to realize that you are getting screwed anyway(unless you can find a deal on craigslist for under $200-I'm freakin' jealous!), so the less the screwing, the better it feels, in these circumstances. IMO

Just buy soil and bulbs at urban garden center.

Buy the rest on ebay. Its literally the best cheapest option because of the fierce competition on there.

I will never buy bottleed nutes at urban garden center again.

Organic guano and their soils are priced alright, especially if they give you the 10% discount.
