Anybody ever mail it before?

Yeah I read this one post from a dude who works at ups and he said it happens so often the mail room always smells like marijuana and most of the employees smoke theirselfs so they don’t care. Still doesn’t seem worth the risk though.
I know people that work at UPS. They tell me that UPS fully cooperates with law enforcement. Whatever you do don't require a signature to receive the package.

You might wanna check laws for usps, warrants aren't needed in all cases.
KryptoBud is right. Once you hand over your property to a third party you lose your 4th amendment protections in it. I was confused earlier when I suggested that they might need a warrant.

If they suspect marijuana they can seize and hold suspicious packages without a warrant with exceptions.

First class letters and packages are protected under the Fourth Ammendment unless a valid search warrant exists.

4. Can Postal Inspectors open mail if they feel it may contain something illegal?
First-Class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant. If there is probable cause to believe the contents of a First-Class letter or parcel violate federal law, Postal Inspectors can obtain a search warrant to open the mailpiece. Other classes of mail do not contain private correspondence, and therefore may be opened without a warrant.

Well fuck I'm wrong again as first class mail / private correspondence at least gets special protection. I guess I'm not so sure now about FedEx or UPS. Generally, if you give a box to someone else and they smell weed and call the cops the cops don't need a warrant to open it.

thanks for the correction!!

Here's a couple of posts I've made over the years RE: USPS
USPS inspectors are rarely denied a warrant to search, especially if shipments fit any criteria of a drug package profile. They’ve been doing this for a long time. I would be more concerned about a controlled delivery, especially for an overnight package that has been delayed for this long. Best to know when to walk away from a situation.
@IRISH791 mentioned several of the criteria and, FWIW, here is the rest of the USPS "Drug-Package Profile". This has been around since the 80's in one form or the other. There is a lot of latitude in the interpretation of the profile both when they apply for a warrant to search and when/if it goes to court.

1. Are of a particular size and/or shape.
2. Are heavily taped so that all openings are sealed.
3. Bear hand-written labels.
4. Bear unusual return names and addresses.
5. Emit unusual odors.
6. Bear fictitious return addressees.
7. Are sent to particular destinations

also this to consider when checking the USPS database to find out "Where is my package"?

"According to the website Ars, a federal drug investigation reveals how the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) law enforcement unit can use IP logs on the postal tracking website to investigate crimes

“The USPS database reflected that an individual using a computer or other device with IP address 75.67.6.214 accessed the USPS Track ‘n Confirm website to follow the progress of both the Florida Parcel and Bates Parcel #1,”Dowd wrote.

“What’s most bizarre about this, is the case was tipped off by an algorithm, a system that mines Track N’ Confirm user-data in order to detect suspicious activity, has triggered the investigation,” Ghappour told Ars in an interview."
"According to FBI Agent James Spiropoulos, investigators accessed a
Postal Service computer system that "incorporates a Mail Isolation
Control and Tracking (MICT) program which photographs and captures a image of every mail/package piece that is processed."

But if you get to the point where they obtain a warrant you're in trouble. Best to just do a small grow for a hobby and not get involved in anything that could get you in trouble. That's my take on things. No way I'm risking my freedom to make a few bucks. Or for that matter a lot of bucks. I don't take chances with my freedom.

Good post. ive heard only check tracking once or twice tops, not a shitload of times as thats a trigger. I've also heard only use tor routers or VPN's to check routing, do not use an open IP computer or phone to check routing as they log your ip address. Also if anything outside of them dropping the package off outside is suspicious absolutely do not accept the package. its pretty easy to spot a controlled delivery and if tracking shows an odd delay then also deny the package.

also from what ive read: First-Class Mail includes:

First-Class Mail Cards – the least expensive, most immediate way to reach someone.
First-Class Mail Letters – the everyday letter mail. Affix a stamp, and drop it in the mailbox.
First-Class Large Envelopes – mail lots of material in large envelopes.
First-Class Mail Packages – Letters, envelopes, and small packages weighing 13 ounces or less.
Presorted First-Class Mail – use it for high volume business mail.
Priority Mail® - Cost effective delivery in an average of 2-3 days

I believe Flat rate boxes are priority mail (first class) and these can be sent with cash only no ID needed when mailed. now if they snag a box and have the wherewithal to come after you they could potentially find which usps you shipped from and get you on camera. this will not tell them who you are however unless they really start digging. they could find a camera outside with your vehicle license plate and track you down that way. ive never heard of them going this far for a pound or two in a flat rate box but who knows lol...

Drugs Shipped Through the USPS First-Class
Many of these shipments are made with USPS first-class shipments. In fact, according to the USPS, “first class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant." Such fourth amendment prohibitions don’t necessarily attach to searches by private companies such as UPS and FedEx.

Although the USPIS targets members of drug rings who use the mail to illegally traffic their product, they rarely catch those higher level players and instead stumble across less experienced shippers of contraband. The vast majority of contraband shipped from USPS involves low-level participants including a person sending a small amount of cannabis or marijuana concentrate through the mail.

Unfortunately, those types of amateurs with the least experience are the MOST likely to be detected and investigated. And when investigated, those inexperienced shippers are the most likely to forgo getting a criminal defense attorney and offer up a full confession when the agents knock on their front door. Don't compound one mistake with another when the investigation begins.

https://www.criminaldefenseattorneytampa.com/drug-crimes/usps/

“The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is committed to eradicating illegal drugs and their proceeds from the U.S. Mail. We pursue traffickers of all forms of illegal narcotics—including marijuana, which remains illegal under the federal Controlled Substances Act and is therefore unmailable.

you definitely do not want to ship with any methods (using CC etc.) where you pay using a traceable link. cash only and provide no ID or DL when shipping it out.

I’ve said it before. My wife works for the usps processing center. If they smell it even in the slightest they turn it over to the police and go from there. In all honestly it’s in no way worth it to mail it. Even if they’re in smelly proof bags a lot of guys get caught because they pack it and seal it in their house the smell is there either way and will get busted More times than not.

Decades ago I was involved with wholesale pharmaceuticals ;>) . Had a partner in Hawaii whom I would mail product on occasion. I would wrap the package in an old leather vest or other leather garment. Never had a problem.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Get your stamps, pick a business, like a hobby shop, for return address, make sure you do your math right on postage , vaccum x2 - x5 depending on strain and destination. Usps in Usps box only. Clear tape and Usps tape only. Never check tracking, especially on onion router you dumbass. Make sure box fits in the receiving mailbox. PO is best because they give a mystery key to a mystery box for the mystery package. Once I sent a package the exact size as the biggest PO drop box. Recipient laid on floor for 5 minutes wiggling it past the hinge so he didn't have to ask a postal worker to get it from the other side. I think I would have just asked except her tells me it was a buildasoil box. Oops. Usps box only..

Even though they never gave a shit. Used to get Ketamine from Pakistan, it would come in crazy middle east packaging, like bandages and wax seals.. One time half the vials were smashed and i got a half soaked half crystallized box in the mail. They don't care as long as it doesn't smell like weed. Isopropyl and gloves to package. Sometimes recipient smells Isopropyl between vacc layers i say thats better than smelling skunk at the PO right?

Plausible deniability says the recipient is getting a surprise not an expected pack. Dont let the idiot check fucking tracking on tor. Dont have the idiot texting you on the way to the mail box.
