Anybody Ever Grow Tobacco?

Sun curing sounds like drying haha. Anyway yeah I would be interested in growing this if I could find some real facts on it. From what I've found online its 2+yrs to cure properly but apparently there a difference in opinion there.

That just doesn't make sense as when the 13 colonies were just beginning they experienced an economic boom almost immediately due to growing tobacco. Therefore, from this historic perspective I would say that it would not take 2+ years to grow tobacco.

When I was a child I used to think it took about 12 years to grow asparagus. They're just a weird plant. Don't know why I thought that.

Better plan on growing your tobacco outside...a farmer next to me when I was growing up grew tobacco and the plants get huge! Like 7' tall and 4' wide at the base tall. Not much branching, but the leaves are huge. Def not for inside a grow tent!

FYI - you're supposed to top them once they get to about 4' tall. Just cut off the top. It makes them yeild out a lot better.

Again were talking about curing not drying here. You think people don't buy Mexican brick because it's not cured? Hell no, its crappy weed but its cheap and in vast quantities and pulls in millions yearly. (Hell probably monthly)
