Any way to tell strain from what a seed looks like?

So i got 2 seeds from a good buddy of mine who claims that these seeds are legit. Is there any way to tell from looking at them if they will turn out to be "pineapple" (which is what he said it was from) and i saw the nugs and they are beautiful with plenty of red and orange hairs and lots of crystals. any input appreciated.

i sireouly doubt you can tell unless it like pinapple express or it says "bubba kush" on the seed

only way to tell is 2 plant it :leaf:

but it also depends on how u grow it as well :blsmoke:

well being that i don't have a lot of money i will be growing in this set up (with different bulbs of course i just didn't have them when i took the pictures and i wanted something at least to put in there) with 6 cfls and still haven't figured out what nutes or anything else yet. and when i get more money i'll change out the lights and all that good stuff..

You can plant it, grow it out, flower it, harvest, cure and smoke it and still not know exactly what strain it was.

oh well.. as long as it does the job right?? lol.. most people just want something to call it. but that's the plan so far.. whats the best way to sprout the seeds? i've been told cup of water in a dark place or wet paper towel in a dark place?

Dinosaurus Haze gets it's name from the largest dinosaur sized buds ever made. Good yield? Talk about godlike.

the best way to sprout seeds i find

open a dvd case, grab some paper towel. fold over once or twice. Wet paper towel folded shut, put the wet paper towel inside dvd case, place seed on top, repeat by putting another wet paper towel on top of seed now. Close case. Blaze out and wait for it

also something to help keep it really warm and moist, and this is what i did and i have about 6 pops within 5-10 hours it was almost ridiculous, i didn't even have the growbox ready for them that fast even..is you can go grab a bunch of soil. wet soil is better and fill up a big bucket that has a sealable lid with the moist soil, and then put your seed in the DVD case, or tupperware container or whatever inside the the bucket, buried in the soil..it'll be super hot and extremmmmmely moist in there that they will pop ridiculously fast

All that trouble when u could of just buried it in the soil 2 begin with :wall:

not exactly

this just gets it's really warm, moist and humid..so it pops fast

try it, have a race doing what i said and putting one in the ground see what one pops first
