Hi everyone
I'm a neophyte to growing, and hopefully in a few weeks I will have a 4 x 4 tent with an 12 pot aeroponics system inside. Any comments re experience with tents out there?
I was doing some research on fans/air coolers, and came across the Ice Flow Heat Exchange. (http://www.greners.com/fans-ventila...tioners/ice-flow-heat-exchangers-6-and-8.html) and was curious as to if anyone out there has used one.
I am considering purchasing a Vortex. Any comments about that? I have to set up the tent in my bedroom, so I need equipment that doesn't rattle, or hum, as I sleep on the lighter side.
The ballast I've decided on is the Lumatek 600. They are suppose to run cooler.
The filter I am thinking about is a Phresh filter.
Also, can anyone recommend an inexpensive, reliable timer to set everything up on?
I am also concerned about my wiring getting hot. My house is about 35 yrs old. This is one of the reasons I am not using 1000 W lighting. I don't know if the outlets in my bedroom are piggybacked off a single wire.
Like I mentioned previously, I'm new to this, and there is so much information/misinformation out there.
