Hiya All...As a newbie i dont think i have completely failed myself ,as most things seem to be going ok until now.I am 4 weeks into flower with white widow and looking quite healthy..I think i may have a lockout problem now though??I will describe as best i can..I am growing in Wilma 11 liter pots with soil.I am using all bio bizz nutes. For the past few days the resevoir dos not seem to be going down very much while at the same time the EC is rising from the 1.8 i had it at initially to 2.4 now..I had added more water to bring it down but tonight it had risen again. The PH is steady throughout this at around 6.8..Is this lockout and if not what may it be?Overfeeding??Should i flush for a couple of days??Any input appreciated..:)

Hiya Apomixis..No access to a camera at present...Plants look really healthy in general with healthy buds, thick stems etc and topped once..They have sporadic yellow leaves, moreso around the top just.:)

What "soil" are you using?

If its a normal nutrient laden soil you shouldn't be using a recirculating system.

If you are using coco "soil" this is an inert hydro medium and can be used in recirculating systems.

If your EC is returning higher than it was before feeding then your nutrient res is too strong.

Depending upon your exact medium will depend on how I know answer.

Elaborate on your soil please.

Hiya J..I have discarded the bag,but as far as i remember it was just a multi purpose peat based compost i am using..Hope that is of some help and apologies for maybe being a bit vague on it..

You need to get them out of that reservoir.

Just use plain pH adjusted water for a few days.

With SOIL most growers feed once, wait until pot is lighter or dry 1"-2" deep then just plain water for 2x waiting for the pot to dry out.

IMO you would be best to remove the drippers and hand water for the time being.

Next grow using this system get yourself COCO its made from the husks of coconuts and carries no nutrients within it other than what you feed it.

This type of growing is where EC monitoring really is crucial.

Thanks J for the input,:)I have the drippers all off from earlier tonight.I will do as you have advised and defo CoCo for the next adventure.Should i ph water them once they dry out after a couple of days, before introducing nutes to them again at a lower ec,1.4 perhaps?

IMO I would hand water plain pH adjusted water tomorrow.

Then allow the soil to dry out a bit. Like I mentioned 1"-2" dryness when you stick your finger in the top of the soil.

Then water with the plain pH adjusted water again. Allow to dry.

Then reintroduce nutes at EC1.0.

After around a week up that to 1.2.

See how you go from there.
