So I left a couple days ago, and when I got back yesterday I noticed this on the bottom of one of my plants. The leaves that its on are hard feeling and will crumble. Not sure what this could be or why its happening. It has stuck primarily to one side of the plant, and doesn't seem to be effecting the others.
Any ideas what this might be? Help needed asap!

Def dry roots. That is the plant cannibalizing itself to stay alive.

I agree, the plant is pulling the water out of the lower leaves and sending it to the top. Just water as you would normally do. Should only take 24 hours to recover.
