Any good turn-key solutions?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a cost-effective turn-key stealth kit?

damn man. long time meber for first post. My advice to you would be go hydro the first time and fuck the soil.

The only turn key boxes you will find that IMO are worth the money are the units from BC Northern Lights.

I think I'm going to give http://www.thegrowbucket.com/ a shot. I'm only going to grow one plant at a time, more as a hobby than anything.

If that is the way you wanna go you can get a much better deal if you look around. Have you ever looked at HTG supply's website?

I think I'm going to head to Rona and see what I can come up with. But I really want to stick with the bare-essentials, since there is a high likelihood I will grow consecutive males, fuck up, and/or lose interest. I'd like to stay under $300, and the cost of a ballast is looking to be pushing more than half that out of the gate.

do you think for a one plant grow you need to invest in HID lighting? why not just start with CFL's and see if you keep interest in it? especially since its such a small grow. if you were planning to expand soon id say invest in a ballast for HID, but then again im a CFL lover.

Check my northern lights grow in the same section this post was made. I should make a video on how to make it. I just need someone to come in and make it look prettier. Maybe get some custom wood designs on the outside lol.

Most of the self-contained systems I've seen are pretty pricey, and really aren't much better than something you could knock together yourself at 1/2 to 1/3 the cost with only a few hours of work.

If you're really interested in only one small plant, a 70W HPS will give you excellent results, and those can be had for around $60 or so.
