Any CFL growers? - question

i personally use 42 watt bulbs, but you can get away with a bunch of 23 watt or whatever is the maximum one they carry. home depot sells the higher strength bulbs. Use Y adapters and plug in sockets also from home depot. Plug those into a powerstrip and bam you have a ghetto light.

hey justparanoid, for those y adaptors - do they half the current output to each light?
and the other day i asked for them in an elec. store and the dude looked at me like i had three heads:S (or maybe he jnew what i was up to
) - so is there like a specific name for them?

i paid like 3 bucks for three of them, which gave me 6 bulbs. Get zip ties when your there so you can hang your power strip any way you like. just zip tie the adapter. I built a light out of a basic vanity light from home depot. i used 23 watt bulbs from walmart. Bought a multi pack. Below is a picture.
I wired it with a lamp kit from home depot, just match the colors and screw and tape your connection with electrical tape.
