need to talk to a mi caregiver. was thinking bout it hard lately, i have a passion for growing and hope that one day each of us can grow and not be worried

ok i see already this post must look sketchy lol so here it is..... does a caregiver have to have his or her own space to grow and can the patient provide his or her space for their grow?

Then I would ask what is your reasoning? can't very well take care of plants you don't have space for. I would advise against the partnering up route at all costs. One person inevitably ends up doing all the work and ends up pissed.

Yah just tried it one last time w a family member...somehow he ended up with just under a schmelbow while I did all the work. So now it is just me and it will stay that way.

Why is there so much shit given to individuals who want to be caregivers? You may despise the fact that they want to make an income from ailing patients, but its the increased production from these people that will lead to decreased prices and greater availability.

One last thing. Lets not fucking kid ourselves here. Many people are just embellishing or making up their qualifying ailment to legally protect themselves and to have easier access to cannabis. There is a place for both those who care about their patients enough to give them meds for practicality nothing and for those looking to make a income.

yeah shit, last year I gave a new career to a 'friend' I longer speak to... oh well. Nothing like realllllly gettin to know someone.... then you know!

what shit given?? you sure this was the thread you wanted?

As for the people "embellishing", who cares? Not relevant. And yes there is plenty of room for everyone. I actually do quite a bit of encouraging around here as do others. But this guy doesn't even have a spot to do it so we are trying to save him some headaches..possibly tears..yes this plant has made plenty of grown men cry. So if we are all playing nice I would tell him...do alot of reading and then some more..and maybe start a compost pile now. yay.

Not sure I'm following you here, but...

If you can find a patient that has the room to grow, but does not have the ability (disabled, never grown before, etc) then you can absolutely be assigned as their caregiver and grow their plants for them at their house. If you go down this path, I would make sure to very clearly spell out what the arrangement is before getting involved with anyone .... even a friend or family member.

Yes the proposed situation has potential for a lot of complications. To minimize risk you have to make sure you follow the law strictly. Only the person who can possess the plants should have access to the actual grow room/s. Also if this patient decides to grow there own or for somebody else in the same household at the same time you are growing for this patient or somebody else at this same address you should be aware this could be seen as a co-operative grow which precedent dictates is in violation of the mmma.

I think it comes down to access to the plants.
If the plants were locked in a box in the basement that only the caregiver has keys and/or combination codes: It should be legal to have the plants inside the patients structure.
It is really important to have solid locking enclosure that someone in the building can not access without the caregiver's help.

So get yourself a CCTV setup that has a smartphone app and start practicing remote control gardening.
lol
