Has any one used these. Want to ge new hoods cant figure out what i want between
The melon heads, cap xxxtreme, xxl mags, or the raptor, If any have used these and have info let me know + rep

how do you like the spread ive hurd mixed reviews and havent had a chance to see one in use. stuck between the melon head and the radiant 8

radiants on sale a plantlightinghydroponics.com just got the 6inch a little while ago for $99.

edit: 6" is still on sale but 8" was on sale for $109 but its back up to $129 but its still the cheapest place. by the way this whole site is the shit it has tons of stuck way discounted.

just fire up the radiant for first time 2nite, really throws light down not a widespread if you have less than a 1000w bulb you are going to need an extender to get bulb centered in reflector. like the glass system especially good seal, and easy to access bulb and clean glass.

hurd they wernt built well just stuck between the radiant 6 or 8 or the melon head. I know that 8in hoods loose light through the vent holes more than 6in but i have a 8in fan so i dont know if i should use a reduser or run 8in hoods

when deciding on the 6'' or 8" cooling flange your fan doesnt really matter you can get a reducer(s), unless you are planning to connect multiple hoods inline with the same fan then you wanna go with the 8" if not then the 6" will be plenty of airflow.
