Any armchair entomologists able to help ID this?

Having trouble making heads of tails of this. They don't seem to be attacking the plants. I noticed them yesterday on the grow bags.

Possibly Hypoaspis Miles. If so they won't hurt your plant but will eat fungus gnat larvae.

Would those be a threat and have to be dealt with? I don't see much coming up searching for their relationship with cannabis.

Soil mites will not harm your plants. They are actually beneficial to the soil as they aid in the breakdown of organic matter which can actually benefit the plant and help the roots absorb the nutrients in the soil. I take it you're using soil and that soil likely has aged forest products in it which is where they likely came from. Some soil mites are predators and will actually eat the bad mites that you don't want.
