I have done some research on ants. some say they are bad some say not to worry about them. should i worry about the ants that are in my pots?

well if you got a full-sized ant colony going in your pots with a queen and anything i would start to worry a bit, at least for the fact that those things are damn nasty to have in your house.

if you ask me, kill 'em all, no crawling around in my grow!!

lol...yeah i just don't like them, and when i check on them i always find them on me. it not a full colony yet....whats the best way to get rid of them??

Get an anteater dude!

ant traps worked well for me, kills the scouts and then the rest following those and the colony starves then to death:) also are traps cheap and i don't have to spray anything on my plants. if they are to many for traps i go for tobacco-tea and spray the soil with it, but it isn't pH neutral so watch out!

ant bait. the outdoor stake baits. put 1 here and there. they will be gone in a week. don't be afraid to use a lot. i just looked and i have have 2 kinds "grants" and "combat". 1 is a 6 pack 1 a 4 pack. they both have some in them so apparently it didn't take to many.

well in the basis of them being good for the plant is so so...on one hand they naturally airrate the soil an kill most pests...the down side is...ants suck an are hella annoying they also harvest gnats...which means they protect gnats so much so that you will find yourself with a gnat problem an a ant problem..

well i decided that im gettin an anteater, anybody know were i can get one??
call in on a high end pet store in hollywood i would say;) or sneek into the next mayor zoo at night and steal there one:lol: watch out, they got claws like a damn grizzly! those eat ants too by the way:D

Just out of curiosity, did you use molasses or some other form of sugar to "sweeten" the buds? Half the people I know who tried that ended up with ants - it's just not worth it. =(
