anyone used ants piss ( formic acid ) for a ph down ?

iv done my research and its the same as citric acid ..... You know the stuff you get in foods etc etc ........ So its without a doubt good to use :)



i have a massive ants nest in my back yard and iv seen on tv how those survival nuts get the ants to spray
the formic acid in defence of their nest :)

so im ready to go get me some ant piss and correct my res situation and was wondering if anyone has ever used ants piss for a ph down ?

folk use white vinegar and citrus but this is not concentrated enough imo you need to add too much
phosphoric acid at 93-96% only requires very small additions 10-15ml in 60liter to reduce the ph 1 point
i used some nitric acid recently which is only 30-35% this also requires too much and its also more expensive
phosphoric acid ftw!

iv seen it on tv , you put a dome shaped clear plastic ( not metal as in will erode)
over the nest and they spray the inside with ants piss ( formic acid ) and then you collect the piss :)
