Hi everyone. Ive recently started growing, and ive ran into a problem with ants crawling into my plants. The plants are bagseed and are about a week old. How can I get rid of them?

Have they nested in the pot?
One way is to put the pot into a bigger bucket or whatever you can find and fill it with water so it covers your pot and drown them.
Could also try some surface spray around the pots.
There are also quite a few products for ant problems at your local nursery.

If I i drown them, would the soil become to dense for the plant to survive. Also, I read that ants are good for plants as long as they're outside, can anyone confirm this?:blsmoke:

ant traps work. they cost a couple dollars.
