i came home from work and i found out some how i switched my timer to on. and my light has been on all day. my plant is 15days out of soil. so it didnt get the normal 18-6 light schedule today but i turned the light off when i saw and i am just waiting for the normal on time. is this going to effect my plant and should i have just left the light on and let the schedule continue tomorrow?

Like stated.. no, it won't effect a thing .. if the plant were flowering, it.might be a bit different, but as is, don't sweat it..

LOLOLOl im a noob i know i am but as for 18/6 will give males thats so full of BS its trully laughable sorry but it is

cannabis growers bible and any type of test will show you that more light does make more males... let me get a few resources to list... probably find some from rollitup...lol

Come on, use common logic bro.
If more light caused more males, then everyone would only run veg lights for 14 hrs or so. And they damn sure wouldn't run them 24/0 for veg. That is if they're not running fem seeds.

yea right... 14.5-15 hrs of light untill they sex out then crank up to 18/6 its been researched many years by very knowledgeable people... look it up for your self

Did you read your own citation? according to the first source you posted:

"Some advice floating about on the web says that you “might as well keep your lights on 24/0 for vegetation”, arguing that the extra light can’t hurt. This may be true, when growing feminized seeds, but it also happens that a lot more light leads to a lot more males if you are growing from standard seeds."

They are clearly stating that 24/0 will lead to more males. I didn't bother to look up the second one as I know what you said about 18/6 leading to more males is simply false.

Please stop spreading disinformation. Good Day Sir!!!!

PS I am a little leery of your source as they claim that 24/0 may be OK for feminized seeds. Not true. All plants need to have some break in the light cycle for proper carbohydrate production to take place. This is known as the Calvin Cycle and it is disrupted by constant light. Please read an actual biology book and take the time to comprehend the information. Thank you, Larry
