Another "should I (partially) harvest" thread with some variables

My Amnesia Auto is 12 weeks old which is what the breeder suggests as the ready time, but there's a few things that make me unsure how to continue:

1. Trichomes are mostly clear with some amber
2. The top part of the plant has suffered from light stress. I originally thought it was just from flower, but some guides say it's burn damage and I should harvest right away
3. Most lower buds are not well developed

I have low night temps which could cause the discoloration as well, around 16C vs 23C during the day.

Should I harvest the top colas and have the lower ones fatten up a bit before taking the rest? Or should I just go for 1-2 more weeks to see how it ends out? Maybe defoliate the top fan leaves that are mostly dead anyway so the plant gets more light to healthy ones? What do you think?

I'm assuming that you meant the trichomes are cloudy with some amber. If so then yes you can harvest the tops and allow a few more weeks for the rest to mature. It's better then having a bunch of immature buds after you cut them off.

No, I meant they're mostly clear with some amber (possibly from handling damage).
I disagree

Harvesting the whole thing gets the OP back in the game quicker
I have enough stashed and probably won't grow again before the end of the year.

That's good then let the bottom mature. Also I know its tough to not want to touch the buds but you need to learn not to. It's like picking apples off a tree using a baseball bat. If you looked with a microscope you would see you would have broke all the trichome heads off.

To be clear - the trichomes are not milky and the pistils have not receded. Are you suggesting chopping because of the dying leaves?
