Another noobie fan/filter question.

Hey folks.

Second post here. I posted a couple weeks ago about transplant and got great advice

Anyway, here's my deal: I had a couple fem seeds and decided to throw them in some dirt at the kitchen window, while I was working on my outdoor garden of 25 pepper plants in containers. You know, just for fun and maybe something would happen. It did!

So I bought a cheap ass light from Amazon and put them in canna coco/perlite 70/30ish. Feeding Canna A&B with a touch of Calimagic. Transplanted in 1 gallon fabric pots. pH to 5.9, watering every other day with 20% runoff and that's stable, as well as the ppm's at about 150 ppm's increase at runoff. I'll put them in 3 (maybe 5) gallon fabric pots in a week or so. I'm freaking blown away how good they look and it was unexpected. I was just playing around.

I have a 4x2 tent on the way and an Electric Sky ES300. I've wanted to do this for years, so I kinda went all in (for me).

My question is this: Would a 4 or 6 inch inline fan and carbon filter be more appropriate? I look at my obsessive behavior and think I may get a bigger tent and I'll be glad I got the 6 inch. Would that be overkill for this run? Also, do I need an intake fan as well? If so, any recommendations? If not, I'm confused as to know if I should be concerned with light penetration using a passive intake from opening that lower screen window. Lights are out at night, but I'm still concerned.

Thanks in advance.

Get the 6” filter and a 4” fan to push the air.

Thanks. I always thought they had to be the same size. Good to know.

I'm looking at the AC Infinity 4 inch. Hope that will work with the 6 inch carbon filter. I suppose there's some sort of adapter.

Thanks for the quick reply

Haha! Just realized you were the one that helped me with my transplant question. Thanks! Guess I should continue to listen. :)
