Superthrive has only caused me problems in DWC and cloning. I would keep that little guy in a tray till some roots really started to show. Top feeding is fine early on as long as the stems aren't too long under the hydroton. Once the roots hits the water level you want, ditch the top feed. If it's too close to the stem, you could end up with problems.

Personally, I've found that making them stretch under floros when they are seedlings are best because I can bury them deep in the hydroton and just raise the water level to the bottom of the netpot until the roots drop out.

stick with your LED and bury the rapid rooter with another couple inches of hydroton when the seedling gets bigger. I have never noticed any beneficial effect with superthrive, mine has made its way into the graveyard bottle of shit I never use anymore.

I appreciate that I received it as a first grow gift and it sat in box was thinking of trying but not sure don't know pros/cons

I have that exact same air pump. Go amazon. Anyways I see your hydroton level is quite low in your basket. You are potentially letting the light from your LED into your bucket. Not good if you plan on running a sterile res.

I plan on filling up was just waiting to get above lid and yes thank u amazon
