I grew outdoors years ago and this is my first indoor grow that happened quite unexpectedly by dropping a bagseed in a pot and it grew. The original smoke had a powerful odor that could be smelled from across the room while it was double bagged. Its sativa dominant, (maybe even pure) because the fan leaves are long and thin. I believe it came from a hydro set up because the local seems to get a new batch in about every two months. I also went through 2 oz. and only found three seeds. Anyway I used some cheap potting soil, mixed perlite and vermiculite, and ended up transplanting into a large 3 gallon bucket. I mainly left the plant in the window but did use fluorescents on cloudy days, but had to go completely artificial last week because its too big for the window. (Plant is chest high on me and the internode leaf growth exploded about three weeks ago and some are even pushing through the original fan leaves) I used a very diluted miracle grow plant food, and just switched to MG bloom. Also very diluted. (I dont care much for MG but I didnt have many choices without ordering online) I finally got my flower room ready and went 12/12 yesterday. For lighting I have 2 four foot 40 watt floros. 2 HUGE looking 65 watt CFLs at 2700 K, two 42 watt higher spectrum CFLs and three 26 watt 2700 K CFLs. Is that enough light/correct spectrum to maximize flowering? Grow area is about 4x4. One note concerning LST. Dont know if anyone has ever done this or tried it, but I had a fan blowing up and across the top of the plant and it was very close to the overhead lights and I accidentally set the fan one setting too high and the top was being blown out from underneath the light cover and the next node down took over. So I think Im going to have a double cola. I managed to get three clones 2 weeks ago and all three rooted but have not grown. One last thing I need for my room is mylar. I looked in Lowes but I cant find it. Did I create a monster? Any help, tips, or comments are welcome.
