Another Illegal Compassion Club posing as a Dispensary shut down

Legal or not, if the gov see's your making loads of money, and there is any way you could be holding out on taxes, they will fuck your ass so hard, no lube, with a gigantic horse cock.
When a business is half-legal-ish, especially. If its not full blown legal, or even if it is (like alcohol) anything used to alter the mind away from "Sobriety" is heavily monitored, and the gov will find any way they can to shut shit down. Which is why all drugs should be manufactured and distributed without the gov knowing about it, or license. By having that in writing, your basically telling the gov "hey keep close watch on me , if i get successful, come harass me until you can legally take every penny i have".

No difference than a cartel or gang. Normally if your operating biz on there turf and you are known to them, you'll owe tax, if not, your harassed. But if you fly under the radar, no one is the wiser.

Lol jars stuffed with boveda packs, what a joke unless you like remoistened herb. Anyone who opens shop in Harvest of Tempe's backyard is going to get busted. White and associates have direct ties to the PD and have helped oust similar business before, understandable especially if legal dispensary delivery is coming under fire between owners.

The open eneded question that should be receiving attention: Why are people entertaining compassion clubs? Is product that much cheaper/quality that much better? There is one club that has real dank in PHX but they are not cheap by any means. So what is the allure vs a dispensary? The business practice of buying product for resale costs so much more than producing flowers in house. The costs of running an efficient grow is completely relative no matter what the size. If dispensaries stopped paying 8-10 worthless employees to do nothing, prices would be lower for patients, sales would increase, compassion clubs would be forced to compete, which on a wholesale level would be impossible. It's not that complicated but something is missing from the equation with these dispensary businesses.

You're probably talking about GTA. $400 OZ's loooooool.

Delta 9 was beating Harvest in pricing and had decent quality meds (the fresh shit not that re-moisturized crap) so they had to cut the competition. I went in there once because it was in my area, the budtenders were cool but one of them kept saying they got a some of their meds in Cali and brought it back, not really sure of the validity of that statement but telling a first time patient that you're doing something considered illegal is probably not the best business plan.

I'd go to a club before I ever set foot in most of the dispensaries I know about. I know for a fact that several have actively been working to get clubs closed and some have even donated money to police for this very reason. There has also been discussion among owners on how to help prevent any legalization measures getting approved. Most of these guys are straight up scumbags.

I could see the argument that compassion clubs have better product because they don't have limitations on where they get their herb but at the same time lots of the clubs are selling Cali gh as indoor. The dispensaries out here are paying lead growers thirty thousand to run 100 lights, which should tell you something about the upcoming product. Lots of these growers know nothing about strains and are just flooding facilities with cuts from other businesses and random sources. Proven or not, those plants will grow something that owners automatically think its worthy of 300-350. They have probably never seen bud remotely worth that price tag. The constant theme in AZ is to not hire qualified employees for fear they might have more knowledge and experience then the owners, makes them feel small or something weird. Putting together a solid team who can run a storefront or facility completely by themselves, if necessary, is key. I have personally met an owner who is apart of a threesome and holds the title of "master sommelier" and the bud he had me checkout was blatanlty green/wet and the smell gave it away before even touching the bud. Already packed and ready to put on the store shelves. Dude knows jack shit and is in charge of med purchasing and inspection for his dispensary. It doesnt all fall on the owners either; patients need to educate themselves as well because bullshit business practices are flourishing due to their lack of knowledge.

SNAFU..

Club opens. Dispensary near by finds out. Club is shut down.

A+B= C

I would send Harvest of Tempe the finest block of Cheese.

I will not walk into a dispensary (plus I can not get a card w/o selling my rights away for some BS green card that serves none other than the dispensary). Think about it. A patients acquisition of medicine should be personal and private thus the dispensaries serve against my needs.

Why are people entertaining compassion clubs?

I do believe it is the club doing the entertaining...

I have a more entertaining question...
Referencing back to the Channel 3 article(here), if an "illegal storefront" is "just another way for street dealers to sell their drugs" What exactly is a legal storefront? Is there a difference? I am sure many clubs would gladly pay their dues to the State, County, and City. Does anyone remember the Territorial History? Monopolies were the root of all corruption in this State thus the reason for the A.C.C. and many many progressive measures (recall so on..) that combat these type of issues. "The poor and rich, the educated and uneducated rubbed shoulders" in Az!
Personally I have seen clubs w/ Az grown meds and folk from Az. What about lets say Organix - Out of State folk - I can go on listing all the out of state dispensary owners (investors)...

Support AZ or GO BACK HOME!!!!!

Fight fire w/ fire!

I didn't read you're whole post, but just enough to ask why we don't fill out other prescriptions with Juan instead of the pharmacy?

Who's Juan? Your comment is brimming with ethnocentric ignorance... "Stupidity, one of the few things cannabis can't cure."

Now that you brought up the essence of the facts that are being stressed. The man watering the outdoor crops in Cali before he chops them for their transformation from CALI Kush to Az Kush... All it took was 352 miles. Is this the "pharmacy" herb that you are referencing to my friend? What ever floats your boat mate. I have been to a few clubs that are making the transformation and never plan to go back but know for a fact by far more dispensaries are doing it... Either way I don't support the transformation - Az or go home!

What AZ can learn is the model of compassion that Cali uses... All dispensaries, clubs, cooperatives, and collectives get along - no cheese blocks. It is an Az thing (dispensaries and or out of state folk ) to call the popo on their canna neighbor because their herb is bunk or simply because they cannot stand competition I guess. Until all Az realizes that a patient/caregiver can form a club, cooperative, or collective to serve their needs, we are all just pons folks. I never seen a pon take the King nor the Queen. We can't even get a stalemate folks seriously! If we were all checker pieces now that is a different story but we are not so

Do you buy the oranges from the local Fry's or do you take pride in being an Arizonian and drive down to Mesa to the Farmers that grow them ? I
support AZ and if I need to drive to Mesa to get a high quality orange then that is exactly what I do. Plus it feels good to know that money stays in AZ alot longer than the Fry's bought oranges. (Ding Ding - wake up folks). Now lets say that Fry's gets pissed off because they are losing all their "profits"due to folk going to the local farmer(s). (Remember - Frys does not grow the oranges they simply sell them after buying them from the farmer). Would you support Frys when they attack the Farmers in Az ? I hope not.

FRAT!

Support local economy, support local Dispensaries IMO. Not sure about you but ive seen decent quality meds being GIVEN AWAY by handfuls of Dispensaries this month. Not to mention tons of $25 1/8ths all the time.

I think its time everyone just stops the hate for Dispensaries and focuses on bettering themselves and maybe spending less time on the net absorbing negativity.

I will stop hating on dispensarys when they stop taking advantage of patients and uneducated individuals. As of right now, most of them suck and have shitty overpriced product, and are run by people who don't know jack shit about quality cannabis. Pre packeged wet herb testing at 22% THC? Stop selling hype and step your game up for christ's sake. Stop selling cali outdoor and greenhouse for 300+ an ounce and claiming its topshelf. If you gunna stock cali herb make it bomb. Shit is so cheap there isn't really any excuse. Indoor top shelf in ca for green cracks, sour d etc are 23 a pack max..anyone claiming different is full of shit.

$25 eights? Of cali outdoor thats $1200 tops!!! For 200 an OZ and 32 a pack retail? How fucking compassionate.....

There are plenty of legit reasons to hate on dispensaries in AZ, but your numbers are way off. If you think for one second you could be the one delivering top shelf ca bud to a dispensary for 23 a unit, you're dreaming.

if i can go to cali and get top shelf injdoor for 23 and bring it to the farmers market for 200 an oz, why cant these clubs have cheaper, better product?

I have zero interest in brokering cali weed to az dispenarys or arguing cali weed prices, and i dont mind paying full retail for quality herb, but the standard here has already been set so low its really unfair to the people who don't know any better and feed into the hype that anything sold in a club or dispensary is medical grade.

Bringing in weed and flipping it at a farmers market is a whole different beast than running a state licensed dispensary that's got huge overhead and tax liability. Like I said, there are plenty of reasons to hate on dispensaries in AZ, but people who think weed just magically appears here at CA prices... well, it ain't happening. Only made it to one farmers market, but I definitely didn't see anything remotely close to top shelf for 200 an oz. Maybe it's gotten better
