another flowering question!

i got this plant around 2 months old.
its been on a 18/6 schedule vegging
its got lots of pistils and budding sites.
but im not sure if its already flowering.
i havent switched to 12/12 can plants still flowwer on 18/6?
what happens to the plant when you go into flowering?
waht should i be looking for?

it might be flowering. might be kinda hard to tell from the pic. time will tell.

its definitely preflowering. looking good plant looks healthy
