Another first time grower

Well this is also my first time grow. Ive been reading up alot on growing "mostly here" and this is what I have so far. Ive got 2 lil ones been sprouted a week the others have sprouted in the last 2 days I think 8 all in all. Ive been watering with water at 6.6 pH, room temp is at 75, and humidity at 60%. I used miracle grow moisture soil which now I know might not be to good and holes in the bottom of all pots. Ive got 3 42 watt cfl, 2 4' fluorscent lights and a T5 4' 8 with red and blue bulb mix ordered from discount hydroponics. Any and all sugestions taken thanks!

And I know people say mh for veg and hps for flower, but this is my first grow and I opted to keep the room temp and electric bill down thats why I went with the T5.

first, your third pic has two babies in one pot. You must seperate them before the roots entangle. Second, my neighbor just grew with all cfl's and the smoke came out fine just not as much as I get with my MHD/HPS

good luck

Look kind of small, but that might be genetics. You'll notice that as you grow, every time your plants look better and better, bigger and bigger just through experience.

I'd say switch to all CFL's. Seems a little cluttered having so many different types of lights.

Ya I know those 4' fluorsect arent really good for much but I bought those before I ever researched growing "not to smart". I ordered my T5 9 days ago so I called today and there was some mix up in shipping so there gonna fed ex it, be here friday. Then im gonna take down the 2 fluorscents I have and prolly add 4 more cfl. And I also repotted all plants into their own pot. Thx for all the input

VictorVictorious, a respected grower on this board, just sold his HPSs (I think it was 2 of them) and bought T5s. He swears by them. I think you will be just fine.

Oh, and I see that you opted for the old 88 cent pot. If you don't mind me saying as such, that is the choice of a true connoisseur.

Nice pots, lol. I am currently using a 400watt Mh and HPS for 1 grow and sets of flouros going for the others and don't really see a difference on the bill. When I switch to the 1000watt MH I will though. Just like plugging in another freezer or appliance. :peace:

Where would I be able to buy a nice sized Co2 tank? If I do manage to find one how much Co2 should be released?

If you do buy the tank, you will have to buy a regulator for it. The regulator will probably have directions for use, and will be programmable and fully automated. If you just got the tank, it would be tedious opening it up several times a day; and would be largely a guessing game.
