Another first time grower here DWC with some help

Hello all I've decided to take on dwc growing. No experience whatsoever, only a buddy that has been doing it 15 years plus to guide me.
Four 5 gallon buckets each stand alone
5x5 gorilla tent
Crecer panthr x ll 660w LED
Advanced nutrients nutes; sensi bloom a+b, bud candy, big bud, overdrive. Hydroguard and cal mag plus too. Just upped from 1000ppm to about ,1200ppm.
RO water
Danner AP-20 pond air pump

I started by inheriting some well vegged plants ready for flower switch. I'm on week 2 now, just added bud candy and big bud to my nute cycle.
Started with medium round air stones and hated them. The consistency of bubbles was shit and I couldn't get the bubbles all over the bucket. I switched to a diffuser i found on etsy:

Holy hell lots of bubbles now. However it's been raising my water temp to 72.5-73 ish so now I need to fight that battle. But so far so good I'm only 9 days in and doing ok. Lowish humidity when lights on due to lung room being only 35%ish but plants dont seem to hate it. Temps steady around 70 degrees constantly. Here's my babies:

1200 ppm?

that explains the nute burn.
i'd cut that in half.

and all you need is base nutes and cal/mg. edit: and the hydroguard too

Care to explain? I welcome feedback and criticism. Plant that shows nute burn was given to me that way and has since recovered nicely. I'm following my buddies recommendations why is 1200 too much for week 2 flower? And why no bud candy or big bud I'm in flower?

is your ppm dropping at 1200?
the coloring looks strange: like an N def or a Mg def. or both.

you don't need carbs in hydro (bud candy). more snake oil from AN. same if people tell you to use molasses in hydro. wrong. and big bud is a PK booster (not needed unless your base nutes don't have enough) which will also probably lock out other nutrients.

No ppm not dropping. They are going through the stretch phase right now I don't think they're too light green. Hmm so no bud candy needed? My buddy told me to up my A+B to get my ppm to 1300-1400

no offense to your buddy, but he doesn't know wtf he is talking about.

cut it down to about 600 and see if they start eating. if not, more tip burn, then nute lockout, then death.

good luck!
and if you want to save money, buy southern ag garden friendly fungicide. same as hydroguard but a million x more concentrated and cheaper.

I love saving money I will do that. 600 ppm at this stage in flower huh? Ill have to look into this because I have never heard of such low numbers for flower.
And my buddy runs about 40 buckets at a time and has done so for over 15 years, best bud ive ever smoked anywhere not even close.

I'm currently running 630ppm. 22 days into flower. The highest ppm was 750 which was in veg. Next fert change. It'll go up to 650.

Your buddy is feeding his plants like this is 1991.

Best weed you've smoke, huh? Better stay with him. Because if you if tried the real deal. You'll be pissed off at your friend for selling it to you. But don't tell him. Let him keep bathing his plants in fert salt. Looking for that half of gram extra.

Jeez some serious hate in here. Yeah it's very good stuff and I've had plenty. No need for insults just simply sharing my experience and looking for some other perspectives

use your ppm meter to tell you how to feed them.

ppm up, too strong
ppm down a lot, too weak
ppm down just a few, sweet spot

Ok thanks. I changed res/nutes on saturday evening and yesterday the PPM was still up there so Ill dial it back some
try this:

make up a batch at 600. the next day write down your ppm. then you'll see why you don't need to feed them so much.

less is more in DWC. a good saying to remember.

Try and use EC when talking about TDS(ppm). Makes life easier for everybody.

Your 1200ppm is prob different than my 1200ppm. But .4ec will always be .4ec.

Unless you have the exact same lights, exact same environment take anybody advice with a grain of salt.

Idk if I want to do a res change again I might just wait for them to drink some and top off with ph water to make it less spicy. If they look good when lights come on tonight I won't change
