Another " Estimate" thread...

I know that you guys answer thousands of these "What should my yield be" Threads, and that the answer is always " Too many variables to tell " but what I want to know is how many of my plants will survive?

I plan on planting about 15 bagseed, and 5 orange kush seeds that i got from a quarter. I tested my Ph and it was at 6.3. Its back in the woods, so they wont be getting tons of light, but leaves have been falling and decomposing for probably hundreds of years, so the soil is rich. I plan on using 25 gallon clear plastic containers as mini greenhouses until the plant cant grow in them anymore, then letting them grow "wild". Deer are plentiful around here, but i plan on brushing my dog for the next few weeks and spreading the hair around ( As well as old socks ) when i take off the containers. It is near a small stream so water isnt a problem.

so, what would your guess be?

That's almost an even sillier question than how much should i yiled. I predict that none of them will survive because of a freak stampede.

all i can say is hope for the best but expect the worst for your 1st grow around.

Raw ground meat or coyote scent spread around the grow will be more effective at deterring deer than dog hair. At least that's what works for the deer in my area.

Be careful with the 25 gal clear containers. On a day of 50 degrees or more the temp inside there can easily kill the plants, you need to cut some holes in the top to release some of the heat. I don't believe in silly questions!!!!!!!!! I would quess in the outdoors you have to expect some loss, say maybe 25 to 30 percent, might be high, but it is always better to plant extra, then you don't feel so bad when you loose some. Do you mean 50F or 50C?

If you mean 50C it will never be that hot here.

If you mean 50F then ill just throw a thermometer in one, and monitor temps. if they get above 85F ill poke some holes.

50 f , I keep forgetting that not everybody uses F. Anyway just be careful because on a sunny day it can heat up fast, but you probably realize that already. I have a 12 x 14 greenhouse and I have smoked plants when I forgot to open the door, and it can happen real fast. Grow happy and have fun.
