I add cns17 bloom. First at abput 18ml a gallon 'or whatever it takes to keep the ppms about constant. Im doin this with ro water i mix the nutes about 5 gallon at a time. I add fulvic acids and kelp at about half the recomened strength. My phup is basically potassium sillicate. I think it might be lockijg somthing out? almost afriad to use the calmag because the cns17 has soo much calcium in it already. What do you think?

its you man, not following directions. cns17 rocks on all my plants when I used it. I used well water though, I bet you its your additives and ro water suspects
Potassium toxicity can lockout mag and calcium. Light burn from the stretch? Raise lamps change out water lower cns17 ppm and add cal mag and micro nutes. Too much fulvic acid requiring too much p. Silicate to raise ph back is bad. Check your meter or just order a bluelab for $90; rare to have too acidic water and how are the roots? White?

Looking like toxic salts buildup to me. Showing in the upper sections first as they receive the most radiant heat. Starts in the biggest fan leaves first and can/will progress into the smaller ones then into the little bud leaves. Start running a lower ppm about 75% of the level you're at now and use reduced N.
Using silicate to raise pH is about the best way to do that unless you have to raise it constantly and if so then you need to figure out why as you shouldn't have to. Plants can tolerate a lot of silica.

How are you determining ph? Too me it looks like one of two problems.
1. Ph is off. Leaf curl and twist with spots can indicate sustained ph issue.
2. Toxic salt build up. This will also cause your symptoms.

Thanks for all the answers. I contacted botanicare and they also recommended adding calmagbwith ro water even with cns17. The spots have moved on to the sugar leaves. Just tiny little brown specs and and they are spreading fast. Its strange i had just flushed my res 2 times this week. And yes it is showing up alot more on leaves with the most light. They look healthy besides the def and the buds are still growing good. Do you think this is a calcium def? Its spreading fast. Alot faster than normal as in the next day its twice as bad. My calmag at 5ml per gallon leaves my ro water at almost 400 ppm?

Well.. my phmeter was rading 5.6 even tho the water was 4.9.... im going to assume this is my problem. I either need a better meter or i need to throw these cheap ones away more often

It certainly looks like a Ca problem and with such a low pH that could be what's causing it. Ca will combine with S to form gypsum which will make both unavailable to the plant.
I use pH Perfect nutes so never run into this kind of issue tho I do tend to feed too much and get some toxic salts buildup in later flowering if I'm not careful. I still think that's at least part of the problem here.

Good point about the Ca and S. I use raw npk B-1 it has alot of sulphur and mag. I on ocassions add just a small amount. About am 1/8 of the doasge. Can you explain a little bit more about the gypsum and how to prevent it? I just want to make sure im not screwing things up. Thankyou

Agricultural gypsum is a good thing to add to soil grows or outdoors to supply Ca and S to plants like tomatoes or pot but when the two combine in a rez due to bad pH then both those elements become unavailable to the plants.
I basically got that info out of one of my grow bibles. Too many things going on in growing to keep it all in my head or it would explode!
If it has made gypsum in your rez there should be a crusty substance lying on the bottom of the rez or the buckets the plants are in so check for that.
