Takashi Miike is a Japanese film director. Ultra violent, twisted stuff. He made Ichi the Killer (highly recommend), Audition, 13 Assassins to name a few. Made over a hundred films since '91.

I’m angry and frustrated all the time, so I try to stay away from super-violent stuff: it’s not cathartic for me, makes it harder instead. Came to that conclusion after watching Natural Born Killers, back when it was new. Tarantino OTOH doesn’t have the same effect (no idea)

I’ve watched some PsychoPass, but other things keep distracting me…Chainsaw Man *does* look good…then again, anime violence isn’t the same or I’d never have made it thru Higurashi & a few other things… kung-fu movies, too, don’t make waves for me (been into martial arts all my life, which helps w/ the dendencies). And “Andy Warhol’s Frankenstein in 3D“ inured me to a lot of unpleasant things (but not all).
In case I never mentioned it, Grimgar is terrific, if y’all haven’t seen it…it’s isekai, but entirely different from all the others I’ve seen (no kings, no princesses, no rank, no points, no gifts or abilities, no chosen ones, no incredible strokes of luck). Now that it’s on CR it’s on my rewatch list (yes, I have one of those now, too).

Checked out vampire in the garden last night and we have another Momo named character and I know I did not spell it right sorry about that but I'm in so it is also an interesting setup for your Seasons I guess or episodes I'm not sure how they're running it on Netflix but it's kind of weird we watched and by the time it ended it was the next season lol hopefully you all are having a good day
