thanks Bags, appreciate it.....guess me moving over the Fun wasn't worth it, it's actually pretty good, but i do have to say Cunchy does have alot more to offer.....wonder if they fixed the goggle play payment thing i was having a prob with....hmm
Man, I ‘spect they must have, because this shit is live. They’d *better* be serious.

yeah i remember those, they were pretty good artisticly........original came out in 2007 in japan, u.s didn't get it till 2009, nice one
I really couldn’t make heads or tails of the original, even with repeated watching; and trying to patch together bits & bobs scrounged around didn’t help. The “3-film” version allowed me to get much more out of it, and I was real glad Prime laid them out for us. Dunno if I’ll ever watch it again but that’s okay

I just recently started on the Fate stuff. I was pretty turned off by Zero, but Fate/stay night was pretty darned good (*and* well-done). Working thru Apocrypha now, then on to El Melloi’s zeppelin.

Did you know Hulu has a double-length F/SN, 2 seasons, 24 each? I don’t know if it’s an expanded version of the one-season version I saw, or if the one I watched was a collapsed version of the original….

Thing has A LOT of damn parts, timelines all over the place

As this is (supposed to be) a top-anime list. I feel I’m ready to to pick a #1

Log Horizon. This thing is gold. Maybe the best isekai, too

I was lucky enough to see GitS in an actual theater, liked it. Saw Akira on cable 2-3 times, sad to say I don’t get it, but it’s disturbing. Saw part of the original tentacle-sex uber-porn extravaganza (Urotskidoki, or something) loaned to me by a woman I was interested in…that potential relationship went sideways fast.

Other than that, it was Robotech, Captain Harlock, pieces of Evangelion & AOT seen on line. Then, streaming happened

i saw Akira in the movie theaters up in Austin, i was hanging with some friends and they said they were gonna watch a movie, it's only 5 bucks to get in, so went to the theater and i saw on the top it was Akira (limited time only)....., after that i picket up the VHS.

Captain Harlock is good, they revised it you know.......

Robotech, yep still have some old VHS tapes of those........

i even have Heavy Metal on tape too......shouldn't have never opened that one and watched it, cause now it's worth some money...

I probably have odd taste in anime. Ordinary people, realistic situations. But we are mightily enjoying One Punch Man right now. Blue Period, about a young man's journey to becoming an artist is really interesting. Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma is about a young person who goes to an elite cooking academy...Kotaro Lives Alone about a young boy who lives in an apartment block and his neighbors who become his family.

You may sense a pattern in my choices lol. I'm a sentimental fool!

naw it's all good, you can prolly say the same to me as well.....currently i'm watching Tokyo Goul, and i am also re-watching Rise of a Shield Hero again before i go to book 2. Demon Slayer is good, as well as the arc's they have, a new one of that is coming out soon.....it's a good story and art form, been watching them since the 90's. Like last weekend, wife went to sleep, i stayed up for a while, rolled one and got me a fresh beer and watched Doom Megolopolis

My ‘preferences’ are all over the map - simpler to say “no torture, no revenge porn, no mechas, no sports” ‘cause then I’m done.

Ought to also say “no really stupid ideas, no copycats” too (Azur Lane)
