Animal Ate leaves

Okay so I'm about 6 weeks into my first grow and I'm only using water and organic soil. A ground hog came and Ate the 3rd and 4th sets of leaves, but the stem part is still there. The plant is a little over a foot tall. Is it going to veg well? Is it going to die? Help me!!!

No lol it will continue growth just get some chicken wire and put it 8 Inches into the ground and 8 Inches up on top and it will keep those ground hogs from getting at those plants .
