AN PPM levels in simple bubble buckets

Hey all, I'm having some ugly ass deficiencies in my vegging plants since tryin to move back to hydro after few years in dirt... my question is: What do other run their ppm levels at w/ advanced nutes sensi grow...

I would ask that ONLY people who have/do use AN grow in a bubble bucket to respond plz, I don't need a sermon or a troll war about how wastefully expensive AN is, that can come later...

I am using RO water, and botanicare calmag+ (Feel free to chime in your green zone ppm's w/ this as well, I feel I am over-doing it)

Run 3gal buckets to veg, 5gal buckets to flower, rockwool surrounded by hydroton, well airated...

Got a beauty of a Jack in flower , ready any day now *glares at it* any fucking day now.... So I know it possible to succeed with this gear, I am just shooting in the dark after too long and too much smoking.... Just gotta find how much A+B, and CaMg to be adding to my water.... (I mix in 2.5gal batches, until I eventually get a water was)

my god that coulda been like.... a sentence... "What ppm do other AN users run for small-med veg plants?"

Can tell I am high....

Thx in advance

I ran 1.0-1.5 EC with AN Sensi (or did... I am on dutchmaster flower atm) but I mixed in cal-mag and h202 with some silica.

How do I convert from TDS (ppm) to EC (µS)?
The best thing to do is use an EC meter. If you know which conversion factor your meter uses, you can do the math. Most HM Digital meters use the NaCl conversion factor, which is an average of 0.5. Therefore, if you are using a TDS meter with the NaCl conversion factor, multiply the reading by two, and this will get you a close approximation of the EC level.

Wrong multiply by 2 then divide by 1000 and you have your EC. Ok poly and your 1000 EC? Lol.

So if your meter is using 500 scale your 500ppm reading is 1.0EC. 600ppm is 1.2EC. 700ppm is 1.4EC.

You can see this is confusing. So just use EC. 1.0EC is 1.0EC on all brand meters.

So long as your not passing 1.4EC you're good. I've had one strain that needed 1.5EC. Most all my plants max flower are at 1.2EC.

My response was copy and pasted from HM's website. Their answer might be specific to THEIR meters. But its what I use. I dont get why people try around with PPMs and shit. Use EC.

so... all that translates to

"about 500-750ppm"

1.2EC? thats like 600ppm... That seems cruelly low... I'd feel like I'm starving my girls....

1.2EC is not low at all for DWC. All experienced DWC growers know that less is more.

And yeah if your meter is on the 500 scale 500-750ppm is a safe area. 750ppm is the most i'd wanna go and have ever went. But this was a 2 month vegged 4x4 canopy monster.
