Ams - Greenhouse Seed Co. -- My first grow

ok, this is gonna be my grow journal for my AMS strain from Greenhouse Seeds, before you get too into this tho, i just want everyone to know that i planted this seed in the open, plain sight of everyone almost...so theres a chance that it might not make it to flower, right now its still small... i planted it around mid may outdoors, straight into the soil 2 days before a 3 day rainstorm...
I go check on it every weekend, to see any new growth, and take some pics with my phone (i dont have a digital camera yet).
Im sure alot of you are thinking im stupid for how im growing it, and more stupidity comes still lol, but im not planting this seed so much for harvest but to see exactly how this strain is gonna grow out and if it will be seen where i have it, if it isnt and i get to harvest it, then it will probably be an ample spot to put 10-15 plants.
I didnt see any growth, or see her even protruding from the ground until last weekend (june 12) but now shes up and lookin healthy. I have attached some pictures of the little girl, i appologize for the bad quality of the pics.

looks good for a young plant. I dont think you are stupid for planting it, I htink you are stupid planting in front of everyone, thats a waste of time and money but thats not me.

yea i would have to agree you shoulda hid it a little better for any chance being able to flower/harvest but goodluck anyways

Its not exactly the middle of downtown lol, there isnt alot of traffic near it, and its in got a few bushes and trees hiding it, just not enough, and i wasnt thinkin about the streetlights that may cause it to hermie, it might be far enough away to prevent that.
ill be posting a few more pics in a few days

Todays visit brought me a surprise....the city mowed the area it was in, now i didnt think they would mow that far into where it was, but on the plus side, my little angel was low enough to not get hit... so without further a-do, here are todays pics...one of the lower leaves is yellowing and the tip seems either burnt off or eaten off by some sort of preditor, if anyone regocnises the problem, let me know :)june26(2).jpgjune26(3).jpgjune26(1).jpg

shes still comin along great, but still not very tall either... lots of pics of her from todays visit...

She is obviously still very young. A mature Green House Seed Co.'s A.M.S. can get to be very big. You should have thought about location if you really plan on harvesting anything. To spend money on seeds like that I would make sure she is better protected. Also I would have dug some sort of hole and at least mixed in 30% perlite, if nothing else.

to be honest im not really planning on harvesting anything, if i can its a bonus, i just planted this as a learning experience for myself...thought id post my results :)

heres some pics from today(july 10th), not much different from the ones from the 7th, but if u look close u can see some growth.
