alkali soil {i was told shuld add ammonium sulfate to the blend of soil i used to be using } true ???

Can you rephrase the question into the form of a question please!

Do you have soil with a low PH? If so it will make the soil more acidic when the sulfate ion is released and becomes Sulferic acid. This also adds nitrogen to the soil.
 
can i use ammonium sulfate in the dirt that i used to be useing ???

i was told it helps does it
 
I don't know what dirt you were using nor do I know what soil you are currently using. If your soil had a low PH and you wanted to change that PH I assume you could use it.

Where did you get ammoniu sulfate from?
