Ammonium Sulfate question

I cant find much Info anywhere else online about ammonium sulfate and cannabis plants.

What I have is 21% nitrogen and 22% sulfur

Is it a good source or Nitrogen?
Will it lower my ph to much?
How much should I use?
Should I mix it in the soil or water?

Also I'm still confused as if I have a true nitrogen deficiency, or lack of sun on the bottom leaves, here are a few pictures of the entire plant

Ammonium Sulfate is used in many fertilizers including cannabis specific brands. It is a good source of both nitrogen and sulfur. I wouldn't use just that on your plant. It looks pretty good. Get yourself a complete nutrient and use that. Something with NPK and trace elements. You want to feed the plant a little of everything. You don't want to dose it with just a high nitrogen fertilizer. You risk creating nutrient antagonism and locking out other nutrients causing a cascading effect and issues.

Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it, I didnt know that.

Are there any nutrients specifically that you would recommend? This is my first grow and I'm completely new to all of this besides my own research.

I'd go with a water soluble fertilizer like the Maxi series, Megacrop, Jacks nitrate or Masterblend + calcium. You can pay more for the fancy nutrients with a dozen bottles but there is no need. Those that I listed will grow just as good of weed as any of the advanced Nutrients, FoxFarms, or other cannabis specific nutrients. If you don't believe me go take a browse through the Marijuana Plant problems section and you'll find tons of people dumping everything but the kitchen sink on their plants using a dozen bottles from some cannabis specific nutrient company. You rarely find anyone posting problems in there that are using any of the products I listed. Instead they post pictures of very successful grows. And whatever you use don't use it full strength.

Also it's a plant. As it grows leaves are going to die. Those two single leaves yellowing is no big deal. Too often people overreact when they see a spot or something on their plant. You're plant looks fine. Take it slow and easy and don't be quick to start dumping stuff on your plant. All too often people try to fix something that doesn't need to be fixed and actually create problems. Feed it moderately and let it grow for an issue free grow.
