Amino Acids

Noob here,

Was learning about the use of amino acids to help the uptake of other nutrients. You guys have always turned my on to good nutrients on this board.

Any suggestions for a good amino acid blend and at what stage you like to use? Im guessing early in Veg.

Always appreciate the help!

Soy plant protein hydrolysate powder (smells like Ramen noodle packets and similar but dont go using that - high in sodium). Get it by the pound from Kelp4less. You only need a little bit. Less than a quarter tsp (closer to an 1/8th) per gallon of water. Works great for micronutrient chelation and excellent when paired with a quality fulvic acid, kelp, & yucca powder for a weekly foliar spray in veg. Highly recommended. All your expensive overpriced bottled (mostly water) hydroponic additives and supplements can be had for cheap in bulk powders and all of them except silica are best used as 5 to 7 day foliar sprays in veg and early flower. You will likely transform your lanky leggy strains into short multi top node bushes (potential & future giant flower sites) with a deep healthy green and vibrant leaves praying (aperical meristem auxin dominance) towards the veg light. Especailly high blue light like 6400 Kelvin t5's..ceramic metal halides and regular metal halides and LED lamps.

The RAW powders are really overpriced. Next time you need to reup on the biostimulant additives..order the same thing from kelp4less. You can get 4 or 5 times as much for the same price RAW sells the powders for. I order once a year in bulk. Enough to last all year of indoor back to back runs and my seasonal outdoor crop. Make sure to keep the powders in a better ziplok baggie. Use a dessicant packet and squeeze all the air out before sealing the baggie up. Moisture will clump up into rocks and wont dissolve. All of them. Especially aminos..kelps...yucca and the humic/fulvics.

If I used more I sure would, but the 2 ounce packs will last me many grows

I do squeeze the air out before resealing. Desiccant paks is good idea, too
