Wuddup guys.
I have just recently started making a change in my grow. Something is wrong with my plants that have been started in soil, i dont know if its the tent im growin in or what, but a couple of them started yellowing, and i couldnt stop it from happening no matter what i did. So, i made the descision rather than to wait til my next grow, i would start transferring my plants from their starter pots straigt into 2-3 gallon DwC containers. Over the last 4 days, ive done two plants out of 7 so far, and by the middle of this week comin, ill have all of them done.
the problem is, im transplanting the yellowing plants first, because theyre the ones in the most need of help. So i did the first one, cleaned off the roots gently, transferred into her DwC container n ph'd the water(distilled). The next day, i emptied out the rez, and i put in new distilled water, Ph'd it, and left it alone so the roots can generate and the plant can start growin again. Yesterday i did the same thing with another plant that was starting to go completely yellow.
Now, what i wanna know is, Is the reason my plants havent grown at all in the last couple days because they are in shock, and they need to grow their roots out and adapt to the new media before i see any type of new growth on top? or is somethin else wrong?
My ph is at a steady 5.8 . it took a while for me to get the ph right, but once i did, i just left it. Not adding nutes, not doin anything to them until i either see new growth start to happen again, or until i get some advice from a pro on what i should be doin at this point.
Sorry to bother you guys n gals, but thisis my first grow with a hydro setup, and i know what im doin SORT OF, but not really. So if anyone has any typa advice to give on what i should be doing at this point, i really would seriously appreciate it.
