Just want to make sure I don't F this up as it's my first time. Am I taking off that central shoot as well as the two branches it's attached too, or just the center?

If you were to just cut off the center piece and not the leaves, it would be considered a FIM, which provides similar results to topping

That's the beauty of forums. Three replies, three diff answers lol. I'll say this: I'm on my first grow so take my advice at face value but that's where I chose to top mine. Its hard to mess up topping though. There is more than one correct way to do it.

me personally I'd do as incognito said just for the fact i usually use it as a clone some like to just take the very top new growth it all depends on what your comfortable with

That's part of the reason I cut there as well. Is should have mentioned that.
