Am I seeing this right?

Ok, so I go and check on my plants last night, and I notice a lil bit of this going on with one of them. Now is that what I think it is? Cause my lights are on 24/7 and I didnt think they would show gender until they started to flower

they will show when mature... depending on strain it coud show pre flowers anywhere from 4-10 weeks. congratulations its a girl

so i would imagine that i should switch the light cycle then?

depends on how tall they are, how much room you have and what, if any, training has been done....

she is only maybe a foot tall, but with the lights i can currently afford, if she does get any bigger it will take a lifetime (mine not hers lol)

IMO i would go ahead and change to 18/6, it will still stay in veg. You can let it grow to however big you need until switching to 12 and 12 (also its less stressful on the plant than 24 a day). Best of luck!

so with no training she could jump up to 3 ft total by the end of flowering so do you have room for that??? in my room the ceiling is 8 ft but the light hangs a foot off of it under the filter then the plant has to be a foot away from the light then the pot the plants in takes up a foot so that brings my 8 ft room down to 5 ft.... I normally try to finish my plants under 4 ft. I flowr them around 16".... you following what I am saying here? Once you switch to flowering the plant s going to jump... your 1 ft plant could easily turn in to a 2-3 ft momma

its going to get bigger when you switch your lights whether you like it or not its going to double in size

lol i deff have the room. they are in a floor to ceiling closet, with clamp lights clipped onto a tension rod above the plants. im good for size. i say bring it. bigger size bigger yeild right?

wish you posted a pic. "about a foot tall" could mean anything. but it sounds like its ready to flip. I'm just sayin.
