I'm getting ready to transplant my clones to new pots. Some of the roots look fuzzy, like fungus. Is there anything I can do?

Without a pic its hard to say but it
sounds like you are describing normal roots.
Not sure if you can see in this pic but on the roots that werent submerged in the water are covered with what looks like
fine little white hairs.
Normal

Any info I give is based on what I would be comfortable doing.

In nature plants don't live in plastic buckets but at my house they do or they get the f**k out.

Hey charface, your photo helped because it made me realize that I do know what healthy roots look like. Some of mine weren't.I was just second guessing myself because I've never cloned before.the pic brought me to my senses.Thanx again

Good deal.

He's right on the money. If there is no gunk yellow slime or anything furry you are great, if you do happen to get an STD add 2-5 tsp's of H2O2( Hydrogen Peroxide ) to each Gal of Water. It's all Good.

At this stage I trim my roots ~ 1" every 3-5 days. Doing so helps more roots to grow above, which is better than a long pony tail

As long as you don't over trim the plants will not flinch

I trimmed the stringy root after taking the pic

My roots weren't gunky or slimy , but it looked like white mold was growing on some.Hit it with h2o2 and it seemed to do the trick.Went and got an ez cloner.now I'm sitting pretty.I started my moms in root cubes.the rock wool in one of them has turned blackish.plant seems fine though.Ever seen that before?
