Yes, but it's tough on the plant and stresses it out. Some say it can cause the plant to go hermy on ya.

EDIT: it's best to take clones off of your vegging plant, then flower the plant. If it is not a female, toss out the plant and the clones. If it is a female, continue to flower and you know that your clones are female - so just continue to veg them until they are the height that you want and flower all but 1 or 2. Those you keep as mother plants and just take clones from them every couple of weeks.

If you bought a clone, it certainly should have been sexed - that is the whole point behind cloning, to propagate females. I've heard great things about Big Bud, good luck with it!

I see people do this here all the time and I just don't understand it. They want to take a baby plant 2 weeks old and put the lights back just to see whether it is male or female and then they wonder why they have 6 out of 8 hermie's.Yes it stresses the plant out big time.
