Always have done......

I've always done 24 hours light at first and kept it like that up until almost flower time. What do you guys think?? Should I just run it 18 on 6 off?

I like to run fresh clones- and I assume seeds, tho I don't run them much- under 24 hours of light.

Once they've set roots and are growing in their own, I like to give them a little darkness, 4-6 hours a day.

If you like to grow big veg plants, and due to plant count restrictions I do, I run night time for awhile longer as they get big with as much as 8 hours of darkness. Less dark time if I want them to grow faster.

Once they hit the12/12 of bloom, they stretch for a couple weeks, then set flower real good for me right about day 21 and stack from there.

I like 18/6 cycle and may try 16/8 next go round. Due to the length of my veg time, 55-60 days, I get preflowers so I know they're ready to party at 12/12.

I typically do 18/6 but had a lag in my perpetual as I switched to all new strains from seed, and my setup in general. So I have been running them 24 and they arent complaining a bit!

I'm running my newly rooted clone on 16/8 for 1st time. I have 1 main tent that has a flowering plant at aprx wk4 occupying it, so I am vegging my clone in a small, height restricted cabinet i hollowed out and threw a cpu fan in and ran 6 5000k cree leds in it.
The reason im trying 16/8 is im trying to slow its growth so it wont outgrow the cab before my flowering plant is finished... its a fine balancing act to try to run perpetual when you have only one dang tent!!!
Only thing i could think to do to slow the growth was running 16/8
...any other ideas would be helpful.
