Tried growing one time about 2 years ago. I had a bunch of plants outside and one plant that i kept in the house. Plants outside died because i went away for a while and i guess they just dried up. And the plant in the house was getting pretty big...but was eventually taken away after my dad found it..ha.
So basically i want to start growing again and learn.
Before i found this site i decided to grow one plant just to use it as a test plant and basically learn from trial and error.
I put the seed in a paper towel and soaked it with tap water. About 2 days later it cracked and i placed it into a ghetto little pot i made. ( Cut a poland water bottle in half and filled it with soil)
Its been growing for about 5 days now and is getting tallER than usual...im guessing this is because its not getting enough sunlight.
I keep the plant in a closet with no light from about 6:00 AM -2:00 PM
Then i come home and add light. I was using some type of flouresent light from a company caled lights of america. But that has broken and now im down to a regular lamp. I know its prolly fucking my plant up but its that or nothing. What i really want to do is have a small grow operation for indoors and have a larger amount of plants outdoors. If you could please help me from the basics on how to grow indoors and what kind of lights to buy and all that shit.
Keep in mind that i am on a very tight budget.
