Depending on the strain they seem to have a lot of new white hair growth on them, 10 weeks seems like enough but I would check the trichs to be sure.

hard to see on the pics but if they are 1/2 amber, its time. Flush hard!! and pluck all those dead leaves off

could it be that i have this new whit hair grow because i changed from cfls to hps like 2 weeks ago?i noticed a lot of change since i changed to hps

Yes. That's why. If new hairs are brewin, wait a few more days to max a week.

That grow space looks pretty nice. But your left plant looks like it's been in a bondage flick for plants. Was she really that droopy that you needed to tie her up like that or are you punishing her for being a bad girl? :hump:

idk. thats a lot of white hairs

Switching to HPS from CFLs could produce more new pistil development, I haven't really noticed any changes before as I always flower under HID exclusively.
Judging ripeness by the state of the pistils just makes no sense to me anymore. I always used to use that benchmark (Almost EVERYONE does at first) until I was taught about the trichomes, and THC. Trichome development is the only real accurate way to judge the THC/CB content of your bud. The "Hairs" have little, if anything, to do with ripeness.
In his Marijuana Botany paper, Robert Clarke describes the "window of opportunity", and the role the trichomes play in determining when to harvest. Some strains like Sativa dominant or pure Sativas can have a "second window" where they do get their "2nd wind" and will have a burst of development.
Anyone who is serious about growing should read that paper.

Go with the trichs!!!!!
